Canopy of Stars within us

My daughter recently celebrated her birthday with some friends at Spur. They played a game where each person had to think about what their younger self would have been surprised about their present life. Her realisation was that she never would have believed that she would have so many REAL friends in Ermelo.

It was thought provoking for me and my realisation is that I would never have believed that I could be happy in Ermelo. Many years went by that I lived my future selfs’ life instead of living in the present. I still yearn for a view. I still dream of my forever home. I still have plans of evenings under the stars…

What would the younger you remind you of today?
