End of Year Burnout

Despite the endurance test Covid has subjected us to, it seems that the last few months of 2021 are asking us to dig deep one more time.
Overwhelm seems to be the common denominator in all my clients challenges. Feeling drained and tired does not support doing emotional work. Therefore we first need to learn how to replenish our energy system so that we are able think clearly and stay emotionally balanced.
Even though end of year fatigue is setting in, our school kids need to put in their best efforts right now. The grade 12’s future depends on these final exams and the grade 11’s are feeling the pressure of university applications looming.
Attending the Ligbron prize giving and handing over of the leadership baton this week, I was astounded at some of the achievements. The hours and effort and dedication that this must have cost is incredible.
Learning how to relax and de-stress is a basic life tool that is easy to learn and practise. I have several options to choose from. Gift yourself a session or two to boost this end of year stretch.
